
“Select friends”, will allow you to choose who on your friend’s list can see where you are. If you choose to select this option, I recommend ensuring you go through your friend’s list and make sure you are aware who you have on snapchat – remember the new update means people can see the exact road you are on. If you choose to tick the option “My friends”, this means all your snapchat friends can see your location. This when then bring up the following screen:

To select who can see your location, select the settings cog on the top right of your screen.

Personally, I think it’s a bad idea but the ability to enable Ghost Mode mitigates that quite a lot. Even after having a few months to get used to it, the reception is still mixed. So is this new feature a good idea or not? The jury seems out and cannot seem to make its mind up.
